It’s my day off, but I still drag myself out of bed, hop into my shoes and traipse down Sunset to work. Today is the occasion of a rare morning in-store by none other than
Jack White The Raconteurs. I want to see how many people show up. People were calling the store yesterday asking if they could camp out. When I arrive, I see that Los Angeles didn’t disappoint. An hour before the show and a half hour before we even open, the line stretches clear down to DeLongpre. Once the doors open, the crew brings everyone in with little incident, lines them up like churchgoers and the show begins.
They’re quite good. There’s a reason Jack White is a rock star. Here’s a little taste of what you missed were you working like most normal people:
